The situation.
Strong product, flat sign-ups. The marketing site and the documentation were separate systems with separate search, and half of all sessions ended on a docs page that took four seconds to render.
What we did
- Merged marketing and docs into one edge-rendered platform with shared search
- Set a hard performance budget per route and enforced it in CI
- Rebuilt the quickstart around a working request in under two minutes
- Kept every legacy docs URL alive with a tested redirect map
